Review: Are Kroger's Truly Awesome Homestyle Chocolate Chip Cookies Really Awesome?

Hello blog viewers! I am going to bring you a special review today on the Truly Awesome Homestyle Chocolate Chip Cookies from Kroger (and stores alike). The privilege of being a BzzAgent has successfully turned me on to a new dessert! Let's face it, who doesn't like cookies, especially ones that taste like they came from your own oven!

 

I was so excited to get accepted into this campaign through BzzAgent! I love to bake, unfortunately...baking does NOT love me. I truly believe in my heart (maybe i'm wrong) but cookies are the hardest sweet to bake. They are either to hard, to burnt, not done, falling apart, not enough chocolate chips, and the list can go on and on. If your like me, eventually you take the long walk down the cookie aisle. I have bought tons of packaged cookies. Some were good, some okay, and others were just plain out horrible. When I received my BzzKit in the mail, I was STARVING (which is bad news for everyone around). I studied the box for a few minutes, checking the nutritional information and ingredients. The packaging is very attractive. The information is not cluttered and the picture displayed is very life like to what is inside. You get EIGHT yummy cookies in each package. The cookies are supposed to be somewhat larger than the "normal" packaged cookies. I didn't really notice a whole lot of a difference in size, but they were a great serving! They come in the foil like wrapper to keep the freshness in. I examined the cookie like some kind of detective, not necessarily to COUNT the chocolate chips but to see how evenly spread they were. I must say the amount of chocolate was just right. You got at least one chocolate chip in every bite. They have some nice and easy little recipes on the back of things you can do with the cookies. I tested some of those out, but before that I just HAD to eat a cookie, or two...

These cookies are delicious! If you were to follow like the directions say on the box, and put them in the microwave for a little bit I guarantee people would think you whipped these right up! The flavor is incredible, and the texture is just as great. When you bite into the cookie the crunch is just right. I have had some cookies that are SO crunchy when i'm done eating them my mouth is raw. I had a slight problem with sharing them, but I did finally agree that my family could have some. :). My fiance's EXACT words were "Oh man, and where do they sell these at? We need to stock up!" He found himself another true love! My 4 year old twin nieces loved them as well...which most kids would, but even they said they wanted their mommy to have a coupon for some of these cookies. 

 

Some fun uses I used from the box

I did save enough cookies to make a couple of ice cream sandwiches. I let the ice cream soften enough to be able to scoop on the cookies. I used one big ice cream scoop of vanilla, evened it out a little if needed, then placed my other cookie on top. I wrapped some plastic wrap around them and stuck them in the freezer for about an hour. We had these after dinner, the first bite I took my cookie began to crumble so I did end up eating with a spoon. It was still very delicious although the cookie became like a rock! Be careful on this one and vary freezing time if needed. 

 

All in all, I think these cookies get a 5 out of 5 star rating from me! The price is great for the quality of the cookies, and the whole family will be thanking you for coming home with these! Let me give you an introductory to what you will find and learn while reading this. You will receive all the different ways I PERSONALLY make money online, as well as tips for you. I will let you in on different ways I product test, and places that I find free things! I will go over all incentives as well. 

Something you NEED to know is THAT I DO NOT DO THIS ALONE! Will (fiance) is also VERY active in all of this, so please remember if I say I made 500 dollars...then that really PROBABLY means WE made 500 dollars...just so there is no confusion! 

I am going to be dividing these blog into 3 sections of the categories stated above. That way everything isn't all jumbled into one. Less confusion that way. I promise. 

MAKING MONEY ONLINE 

Okay were going to start with this because it is the most valuable information you can know, plus I know the more people read, the more bored they become. In this section you will learn everything by WEBSITE. Which means I will post the website I use, and what YOU need to do. 

WWW.SURVEYSPOT.COM

This website has got to be MY favorite. It's extremely easy and I have made most of my money from here. From July of this year until THIS DAY I have made 200.00 doing this site and Will has made about 120.00...so 320.00. Easy money.

You need to become a member of this site, which is easy...all you do is find the "join" button. Simple. After you have done that FIND YOUR PROFILES AND FILL THEM OUT! It's crucial that you DO NOT forget to do this. This is what will qualify you for surveys! After those are done your good to go, there is a "take a survey" button located on this website. Every time you log on this is what you will hit to find surveys available. You can take as many surveys a day that you qualify for. For each survey you COMPLETE (this means you qualify for the ENTIRE survey) you will receive points. Most on this site are worth 50 (which is the minimum you can earn), but some are worth up to 1000! In order to make your first cash out you need to have a MINIMUM of 1000 points! Points on this website can be redeemed for PayPal or a variety of Gift Cards including Amazon, American Eagle, and so on. If you cash out using PayPal you will get your money immediately. If you cash out with a Gift Card, you may get immediately or you may have to wait a maximum of 3 days. 1000 points on there equals 10.00 dollars. 

You may also be asked to participate in PRODUCT TESTING on this site! Which is AWESOME.

WWW.OPINIONOUTPOST.COM

This is another one of my favorites BECAUSE it is the EXACT same as SurveySpot. So please follow the instructions above for this site as well...the only thing different is their point system. You only need 100 points to cash out for 10.00. I have been doing this site for about a month and have cashed out 60.00 dollars already. 

WWW.MYVIEW.COM

This one is pretty nice, you cannot get PayPal on this one but you can cash out for a variety of Gift Cards (Amazon would be my favorite). You can get either a 15.00 dollar gift card for around 21,000 points. You can also get a 25.00 gift card for like 35,000. There is also a virtual Visa card. I have made about 125.00 dollars on this site since August.

You need to be a member of this site as well, create an account and AGAIN, FILL OUT ALL PROFILES! Once those are done, you will click the "my surveys" button and see if you have any. Sometimes I will log on to this one and have tons of surveys, and sometimes i'll log on for a week straight and have NONE! This is a really great site though. They pay in about 1 day. It is also a point system and some of the surveys are worth very little points...and some are worth A LOT!

This website is...okay. I haven't made a whole lot off here, hell i'd say only like 10.00 dollars in Amazon Gift Cards...BUT they do great product testing! I have received TONS of products from them. They do not do PayPal, but have a great gift card selection. The surveys are easy and fairly short. You need to become a member, and if I remember right there aren't that many profile to fill out on here. These surveys will come in your EMAIL so be sure and provide one that you use regularly! Minimum cash out is 5,000 points and that equals 5.00 dollars. 

WWW.SWAGBUCKS.COM

I love this site. It is very easy, but there is a lot you can do on here besides surveys. They have tasks you can do, plus special offers. Create an account and explore the site to get the feel of it. You need to do your DAILY POLL and NOSO EVERYDAY. The amount of swagbucks you get depends on what you have completed. The survey section on here requires you to fiil out profiles so be sure and do that! It takes about 450 SB to cash out for a 5.00 dollar Amazon Card, and 700 SB to get 5.00 in PayPal. They offer TONS of stuff in the swagstore so just browse for what you want. There isn't much I can help you with on here. You just kind of have to learn yourself. They do take about 12 days to send your Gift Card or PayPal money. I have made about 100.00 on here since July and Will has made about 150.00.

WWW.MYSURVEY.COM

I just started this one not long ago, maybe about a month and a half ago. You need to become a member, and fill out ALL PROFILES. I have only made like 20.00 dollars off this site, but like I said I haven't been on it long. The surveys can be boring, honestly. You need 1100 points to cash out for 10.00 dollars in PayPal...they have a variety of Gift Cards and other merchandise on here, so you would need to browse their selection. They pay in about 10 days the first time you cash out, times after that are usually shorter. These surveys will come to your email when you have them available. Be sure and log in weekly to make sure you have not missed any.

WWW.EPOLL.COM

This one is pretty easy, they send surveys to your EMAIL and you just take them. You never have to log on to check for surveys. It can take awhile to get surveys on here though. I have been doing it since September and only made 10.00 dollars. They also take awhile to pay i'd say like 3-4 weeks. It is easy money though. The surveys are also very short, usually. You need like 3,500 points to cash out for 5.00 dollars. They do PayPal or Gift Cards. I might be missing something with site because I don't remember it a whole lot ha.

WWW.PINECONE.COM

This one is neat, they do check or PayPal...we have asked for PayPal but they KEEP sending us checks lol. You get a survey in your email every once in awhile and they pay 3.00 dollars per survey. You need to be invited to this website though. They offer many product tests! Your payment comes about 5 days after you complete the survey. We have been doing for only a couple of weeks, and already got 12.00 dollars in checks! Easy money. Be on the look out for invites and banners from them and join in!

This one, you will make a profile and you will complete as many surveys as you would like...most are worth at least a dollar, some more. I do not do this one a lot but I did make 5.00 dollars from them in one week. Although I don't like this one you might. They pay once a week.

****These are the best survey sites that I have found, all of them pay, and all of them pay FAST. There are other sites that I have found...but they either don't pay a lot or take like 3 months to pay. So, I wouldn't waste time on them. You don't want to do A LOT of different sites, because a few of them run on the same surveys. So if you try to do a survey that you have done on another site, a lot of times it will tell you that you do not qualify. So I would stick with these that way you are forsure making money, and not doing half ass surveys that give you NOTHING. With these sites alone you can make quite a bit, and it doesn't take to much time. You also need to be PATIENT!!! I cannot stress that enough. Doing this takes time and effort. Depending on how much time you put in will usually depend on how much you make. If you don't get a lot of surveys the first week or so, don't just give up. Keep going, it will pay off. You need to know how to QUALIFY for surveys to. You will quickly learn a lot of them are looking for specific people so I don't recommend lying to qualify, but you will begin to see a pattern if you are being kicked out of surveys a lot. Figure out what you are doing wrong and change it. I didn't qualify for half the surveys I tried to take until about 3 weeks later, then I realized what I needed to change!

PRODUCT TESTING

This subject can be a little harder to understand. As you see in the above section, I have posted which SURVEY sites will invite you to product test. Below I will be listing some sites that I use solely based on testing. I have received MANY items in the mail from these sites. In just this week I got pads, tampons, and coupons for a free frozen appetizer, entree, and dessert. In the past 3 months I cannot even name how many things I have received. I also got to try out all kinds of make up for the women out there! It was amazing! Just read to find out how.

WWW.GREENMOMSMEET.COM

This is a website for all the momma's out there! You can sign up to become a mom ambassador. For this you need to have a "mom's meet" group. What you would do is find some of your close, or non close mommy friends and invite them over to share an ORGANIC product that mom's meet will send you. You need to have your group organized FIRST! You will receive invitations to test out products for your group. You need to apply to these invitations as quick as possible because they do fill up quick! If accepted into the sampling they will notify you by email within 2-3 weeks. They tend to turn down a lot, so I wouldn't count on getting products from them BUT about the 3rd or 4th time you apply, you are usually selected. So not the best website, but worth it for the fact you have nothing to do but wait for an email.

This is a good one! They do like seasonal or quarter testing. I was chosen to test for the "fall" sampling. You go on the site periodically and check to see if they are accepting samplers. You will then fill out the information if they accept you (which will come by email) and then you will receive your samples in the mail. I got my sampler from them last week and it had 6 nice products in it for me to try!

This is my FAVORITE! I have gotten great things from them! This one is a little stressful for some though. You will go to the site and sign up to become a "bzzagent". You will need to fill out ALL surveys on your home page. Once you do that, your done. It becomes a waiting game. Their product testing is called a "campaign". If they think you are a good match for one, they will send you an email with an invite. You then need to quickly fill it out (they fill up fast to) and take a brief survey. Your "bzzkit" (which is what your items come in) will arrive in the mail shortly after. After you have tried the product, you will give feedback on it. This will be: Writing a blog, posting to FB and Twitter, writing a review, and bzzreports. If you do all of these things, you will likely be invited to future campaigns. The only down fall of this site is many people complain of waiting SO long to get in a campaign. I waited a little under 2 months. Some waited for up to a year! IT IS SO WORTH THE WAIT! The campaigns are AMAZING. All the make up for Maybelline was from being a bzzagent. Sign up, fill out, wait patiently!  

****These are the top 3 sites I like. You may also go to manufacturing websites and send in an application telling them you would love to be a tester for them. I have done this with MANY sites and they WILL consider it! You may go out to your mailbox and find a surprise gift one day from the company you ask. I done cleaning product sites and a few other ones. I won't list these because this is something that you would need to do on your own. I don't know what you like lol. I did get a Scotch Brite sponge in the mail to try out today :) I have gotten mostly food items, feminine products, and beauty products. Will has gotten shirts, food items, cologne, condoms, and so on. SOMETIMES you may even get extra incentive. I have tested things and gotten money in the mail. Just the other day I got 10.00 dollars CASH for testing. Be aware though, they do want feedback through a survey most of the time. THE PRODUCTS THEY SEND YOU MAY NOT BE LABELED! They tend to send in a plain packaging with no information on it but your code number! Read all materials sent with the product to be aware of allergies because they are NOT responsible!

FREE STUFF

A lot of the free stuff I receive are SAMPLE SIZE products, BUT I also receive many FULL size items. I have my little "sample basket" is what I call it, and it is FULL and it's a BIG basket! Full size things I have gotten are 2 free Suave professional products, a John Frieda foaming hair color, sponges, lotions, Proavtiv cleanser, and the best are the gift cards! I got a free 25.00 dollar AMEX gift card, and a 20.00 dollar Visa gift card! There is only ONE website that I use to get free things. I have found it to be awesome. You can also search Facebook pages of companies for free things as well.

I like this one A LOT. I get stuff in my mail box everyday just for checking this site, finding the samples, freebies, etc. that I want. They have GREAT coupons as well! It is pretty self explanatory so not much else to say about this one.

This is kind of like a Craigslist. You buy things with "credits". You can earn credits buy selling your old, unwanted items. You can pay the shipping or ask the buyer to pay. I have gotten a lot off of the site selling my things. I mostly sold things that were small enough that way I did not have to pay a ton to ship, only cents. They have a lot of girly items on the site...but it isn't really the best thing out there. Some of the items people try and sell are really stupid. It is also auction style so you will be bidding on items with your credits. It's cool if you want to get rid of old things! When you sign up you will also get free credits and you can usually get something with just those credits!

This website isn't technically "free" but it can be. When signing up you will be giving 5.00 dollars in "photons". You can use those towards purchases! Some items are used and some are new. I LOVE this site! I have gotten brand name clothes, Victoria's Secret, B&BW, and nail polishes off there valued at like 175.00 and I spent about 50.00. Even without the photons stuff is dirt cheap on the site. Almost like an Ebay without all the mess. Sign up and get your free 5.00 dollars and look around! 

This is what I do! I was going to post pictures of all my freebies and product testing, as well as screen shots of my accounts to show proof of my earnings, BUT it won't let me for some reason! Remember your not gonna be rich, and you need to be patient! Together since July of this year we have made well over 1,000 dollars. We had 150.00 dollars in our PayPal in less than 2 weeks! Review: Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm & Lots of Lashes! Enjoy.

Some of you might have seen some of the newest creations by Maybelline, well being a BzzAgent I was thrilled when I got chosen to try out the new Baby Lips Lip Balm, and Lots of Lashes mascara! I have been using the products for about a week now, and I WANT to and NEED to fill you lovely readers in on some of my opinions on the products, as well as some tips!

I am going to start off with the Baby Lips Lip Balm! If you love lip balm or if you have some mildly damaged lips you should definitely check this stuff out. 

Here is a list of some key points that are important to know.

• All SIX of the lip balms are Clinical Strength.
• All SIX contain SPF 20 sunscreen.  . 
• In a four week study after use, 94% of people said that they had less rough lips.
  

 I have tried all five flavors and tints that I received in my BzzKit. My favorite is the flavor Quenched! It is one of the two clear lip balms that they offer. I used this product for 3 days, applying twice daily and WOW my lips feel great! I have very dry, cracked lips from the cold weather where I live. I normally need to use something stronger, but I was so surprised when this actually helped! It goes on so smooth and it doesn't have any sticky feeling to it. It doesn't last on your lips for to long, but I have never had a lip balm that lasted long. I did, however, eat and drink with this on and when I was finished it had stayed on for the most part. I also want to point out that they are very inexpensive and very nice looking. The formula in the lip balm consists of shea butter, vitamin complex, and Centella(which is a herbaceous Asian plant). All three of those make for great softness, restoration, and hydration. These lip balms come in SIX different varieties and tints. For those who like a little hint of color you can choose from: Cherry Me, Pink Punch, Grape Vine, and Peach Kiss. For those who like natural lips you can choose from: Quenched(MY personal favorite) and Peppermint! Please remember that if you have severely chapped or damaged lips, you should consult a professional, applying certain ingredients can make lips worse.

This is me wearing the Pink Punch, now I did have on some lip shine earlier that day and you can still see a little shine from it but my lips look a WHOLE lot better than the day before, ALREADY!

This one is me wearing the Quenched! I love this one, it has nice smell and flavor and lets me show off my natural color!

Now, on to the Lots of Lashes mascara! I am sure most of us have either tried that "pink and green" mascara, saw that "pink and green" mascara, or at least know WHO makes the "pink and green" mascara. Maybelline's Great Lash is the brand for all of those who REALLY didn't have a clue what I was rambling on about :). I have tried Maybelline Great Lash in the past, and to be honest...I just could not grow to like it that much. They have made a twist on their classic and are now offering a new and improved brush, and once again I was lucky to get to try it out. I used the mascara the next day after receiving it while doing my normal beauty routine. I have to say I was surprised and disappointed at the same time. I NEED a mascara that is going to lengthen my lashes, give them a dark black color, and most of all VOLUMIZE! Lots of Lashes was good for a couple of those but the most important quality was indeed a fail. When I went to apply the mascara it went on amazingly smooth, no clumps or flakes. It did give my lashes some nice length, which is good because I do have some shorties, and it added GREAT color, but sadly no volume :(. I knew that Maybelline had not made a change to their formula, but I did hope that just maybe this new brush would make a difference. I will say this...it is not a TOTAL loss! I used an eyelash curler, and after that my lashes actually did look pretty decent. With the price of this mascara, you are really getting a wonderful product. The brush itself is like "ahhhh" (in my holy voice). It works wonders getting those pesky corner lashes, because it is very plump on one end and skinny on the other it makes mascara applying so much easier. Maybelline, you really did do a fantastic job on the brush! I would mostly recommend this mascara to someone who just wants to add some color and a little length to the eyelashes. If you want super long, full, and a fanned out eyelash look then this isn't for you...which is why I don't prefer it. Oh, and it was very easy for me to remove with an eye makeup remover cream, no scrubbing or rubbing my eye raw! I will post a picture of my eyelashes so that you can compare and see what the mascara did for ME.

This was using the Lots of Lashes mascara and using a curler. They looked pretty good, normally a little fuller though.

This is with another brand of mascara, not a huge difference in the pictures, but you can tell in person.

I am so glad that I got to try these products out. I would give Baby Lips 5 stars, and Lots of Lashes 4 stars all in all. Remember this is to inform you of MY personal opinion of these products.
